Blog Hop Contest!

What’s up, writers?

I’m teaming up with Lillie McFerrin, Angie Richmond and Daniel Swensen for a blog hop, to celebrate our awesome community of blog followers and fellow writers.

What’s a blog hop, you’re wondering? Well, Anakin…

  1. I’m using Tumblr and I’m having trouble with the javascript given above. I’ve already submitted my link but when I open it the other blog hop entries do not appear.
I’ve pasted the link at the bottom of my html page.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    1. JB, I tried it on my Tumblr blog as well, and I couldn’t make it work either. I will look into it further and find a solution if I can. It may be that Tumblr just doesn’t allow this kind of Javascript.

    2. And I found it, I think. You have to go into Preferences (the little cog) and select “edit using plan text / HTML” before posting the javascript. Tumblr strips it out if you just use the rich text editor. Hope that works. If not, then I really don’t know :/

    1. Have you tried switching to the “edit html” tab before pasting in the code, and then publishing? It might be the rich-text editor (the “compose” tab) stripping out the Javascript.

          1. Thanks All! I finally figured it out by messing with the script syntax. I can share if anyone else is having issues on Blogger.

      1. I seem to be having an issue posting the linky on my entry. I copy and pasted the code, but nothing shows. Help?

        1. David, I’m so sorry I didn’t see your message before now. Have you tried adding the code snippet in HTML mode? I’m afraid I don’t have much experience with Blogspot.

  2. I just came across this today and entered. I couldn’t get the inlinkz code to work on my wordpress site though, so I place a link to this site within my post. Great idea for a contest. Thanks for having it!
